The last evening of the Krishnakriti Festival of Art and Culture began with lots of energy, but also had a lingering sense of nostalgia already.

The first act for the evening, ‘No Strings Attached’, was a puppetry performance which put the audience in a great mood.

With powerful Rajhasthani music by his team, puppeteer Jagdish Bhatt who has performed world over, enthralled children and adults alike, with his skill as they set out giggles and gasps when the puppets changed from man to woman or when they were faced with hissing snakes.

Jagdish Bhatt’s son was on the percussion and his wife catered to the kids who showed interest in buying the puppets for themselves.

“My son Arnav thoroughly enjoyed the performance and so did I. The artiste is very experienced and it showed in today’s performance,” said Anil, a doctor from the city who was present at the venue.
