Art professional Aditya Kumar no more
The art fraternity bid the year 2017 a sad adieu, with the sudden demise of Aditya Kumar, who passed away on December 28. “Aditya had managed the Muse Art Gallery since its inception in 2009. I’ve known him for ages, since he’d just left college. He was always interested in art,” shares Kaali Sudheer, and adds, “He was only 34 years old, the news came as such a shock. For the last three or four months, he had not been keeping well.”
Life can be unpredictable feels Sonia, a Tollywood actress, who knew him because of her frequent visits to the art gallery. “He was a thorough professional,” she says. Artist Laxman Aelay, who had set up one of the biggest art camps with Aditya a few years ago, agrees with Sonia. He says, “I had a great time working with him, he was an articulate and communicative person.”
Rangoli Garg, another artist, feels, “He was going through something that he never disclosed. He closed himself up; he was not active on social media either. He just kept to his work. Today, we have lost a great person who gave art all his priority,” she says.
