Hyderabad: Acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Prasanna Velagala is set to begin a new phase in her creative journey with a series of art shows and presentations across India which are set to initiate soon.
Having showcased her work across multiple countries, Prasanna has built an artistic practice influenced by nature, culture, human experience and close observation. Her forthcoming shows will take her evolving body of work to wider audiences across India while marking an important expansion of her presence in the country’s contemporary art landscape.

Beginning Soon, Prasanna will participate in and present a series of art shows across multiple Indian cities. The showcases will reflect her international exposure, artistic experimentation and growing engagement with cultural and creative spaces in India.
For Prasanna, art is more than visual expression. She sees exhibitions as spaces where ideas, emotions and experiences can create meaningful connections with audiences.
Art, Technology and Curation
Prasanna currently serves as an Art Curator at Experium, an immersive art, nature and cultural destination in India, where she works with artists and creative professionals to develop experiences connecting art with nature, landscape and culture.
Alongside her artistic journey, she also serves as a Director at a technology firm, bringing together creativity, leadership, innovation and technology-driven thinking. Her multidisciplinary approach reflects her belief that creativity can influence not only art, but also organisations, technology and problem-solving.
Creativity with Social Impact
Community service has also remained central to Prasanna’s journey. During her years in New York, she served as a Team Leader with New York Cares and was recognised with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her contribution to volunteer initiatives.
She is also the founder of Petals & Presents, an initiative helping women turn their skills and creativity into sustainable economic opportunities through mentoring, networking, workshops, product showcases and professional guidance.
