Delhi gets an awesome makeover thanks to this street art festival

The festival is showcasing street murals prepared by artists from India and even other countries like Japan, Netherlands and France.
St+art India a popular street art festival is being celebrated in New Delhi and has transformed the city's famous Lodhi Colony area into the country's first public art district the Lodhi Art District. (Photo: Facebook)- This wall opposite Khanna market adorns a traditional Shekhawati painting.
- Here is artist Suiko's depiction of the Lotus, India's national flower, which also includes Japanese characters and striking curved lines.
- Dutch artist Niels Shoe Meulman has used Calligraffiti' a special kind of art form, to illustrate a poem he wrote.
- This beautiful piece titled Lava Tree' is the work of artist Anpu Varkey.
- Delhi-based artist Rakesh Memrot has dedicated this mural painting to Gond Art, which is native to Central India.
- Artist Chifumi has incorporated the symbolic Indian hand gesture Padma Mudra' mixed with the Khimer pattern from Cambodia for this mural.
- This piece, titled Garbage' is an indirect take on consumerism and its toxic effects on the world around us.
