Jeethu Joseph's 'Memories' to be remade in Tamil, will star Arulnithi
Jeethu Joseph is not new to Tamil industry. His thriller family drama Drishyam, which was remade into Papanasam in K’town with Kamal Haasan playing the lead, was a big hit besides receiving critical acclaim. Now, yet another Malayalam blockbuster crime thriller of his named Memories, is being remade in Tamil.
Titled Aarathu Sinam, Arulnithi reprises Prithiviraj (who did the original) as the lead protagonist. While Aishwarya Rajesh is paired opposite to Arulnithi, Aishwarya Dutta of Tamizhukku Enn Ondrai Azhutthavum fame will also be seen in a crucial role. Arulnithi essays an upright cop in Aarathu Sinam. The story is about a police officer who quits his job after his wife and little daughter were killed in front of his eyes by his enemy, but gets back to work to avenge the serial killer.
Arivazhagan known for his intense films, pens the screenplay and dialogues besides wielding the megaphone. The movie produced by Thenandal Films has music by Thaman.
