Popular Malayalam comedian and National Award-winning actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has been roped in for a Tamil movie titled Konjam Nadinga Boss.
Touted as a comedy suspense thriller, the film is directed by Chandramohan, who directed Vivek’s Palakkattu Madhavan a while ago. The movie is about four youngsters — Vasanth, Jayasimha, Rajesh and Ayyappa Baiju who are in a predicament with a popular film producer — how they come out of their problems forms the crux of the tale.
Tollywood actress Ranjana Mishra debuts in K’town with this movie. “We were looking out for a veteran comedian to play an important character in the film.
That is when one of my friends suggested Suraj’s name. When we narrated the script, he was impressed and agreed to be part of the film,” says the director.
The movie has a whole lot of comedians including ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran, Imman Annachi, Devadarshini, Brahmanandham and Mayilsamy.
