Director M. Padmakumar’s latest outing Jalam has been in the news columns for the past one month after songs from the film got nominated for the best original song category at the 88th Academy Awards. Now the latest news is that the film, based on a real life incident, is all set to release on January 29.
As a precursor to the release, the songs which received Oscar nomination will be released at a function in Kochi on Friday. The film, written by S. Suresh Babu, has state-award winning actress Priyanka Nair and Shikkar-fame Jain Syriac in the lead roles.
