VIJAYAWADA: AP Technical Education Commissioner Chadalavada Nagarani announced that a two-day job fair is being organised for polytechnic students of AP from Saturday.
During the job fair, Medha Servo Drives, which provides rail transport services, will hire 100 engineering trainees with a package of Rs 3 lahks. In December last year too, Medha recruited 31 industrial trainees offering the same pay package.
Nagarani said students can attend the walk-in interviews that will be held at Ilapuram Convention Centre in Vijayawada on Saturday, February 25, and Sunday, February 26. Those who have passed their diploma courses in electronics and communication engineering, electrical electronics engineering and instrumentation engineering branches during 2022 can directly attend the walk-in interviews.
The commissioner said officials of the Technical Education Department will be available at the interview venue for the convenience of students. Interested candidates can contact 9346207421 and 6309953362 for more details.
Nagarani maintained that the job fair is a result of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's instructions to the Technical Education Department to take steps for providing employment opportunities to polytechnic diploma students.
