AP: PMT and PET tests for SI (Civil) from Aug. 25 in four cities

VIJAYAWADA: The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for sub-inspector of police (Civil) (Men and Women) will be held from August 25 at four locations in Andhra Pradesh: Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Guntur, and Kurnool.

Atul Singh, chairman of the AP State Level Police Recruitment Board (ASLPRB), said that the call letter for PMT and PET can be downloaded from the ASLPRB website from Monday. He advised candidates to bring a copy of their Stage-II online application form along with all original certificates as mentioned in the notification and submit them to the authorities concerned for verification purposes.

Singh said that the notification for the recruitment of 315 sub-inspectors of police (Civil) (Men and Women) and 96 reserve sub-inspectors of police (APSP) (Men) was issued in November 2022. The preliminary written test was held in February 2023, and a total of 57,923 candidates qualified. Of these, 56,116 candidates submitted Stage-I online application forms.
