Exam centre in TS gets wrong set of question papers

One of the centres in Suryapet district was supplied an incorrect subject question paper by the printer

HYDERABAD: A wrong set of question papers was supplied by the printer to an exam centre in the state where Intermediate examinations are being conducted.

On Monday, English paper-I examinations for first year students were conducted by the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education for over 4.62 lakh students spread over 1,443 centres in the state.

However, one of the centres in Suryapet district was supplied an incorrect subject question paper by the printer. However, it was not distributed among the students, according to the officials.

“This was soon rectified by obtaining the correct set of subject question papers from the district bulk and spare question papers from nearby examination centres which were soon brought to the examination hall. The students remained seated in the examination hall till the correct set of question papers were given after an hour of delay,” added officials.

The students in the exam hall panicked and were afraid that they were running out of time and would not be able to finish the exam on time, once the correct question paper was distributed.

However, the students were given a complete three hours time to finish their exam. The students had earlier also complained of spelling mistakes being spotted in question papers.
