Oracle has begun another round of job cuts, with employees in several divisions being informed that their positions have been eliminated as part of a broader organisational restructuring.
The latest layoffs began on Monday, with affected employees receiving notifications from Oracle leadership informing them that the day of the notice would be their final working day, according to reports and posts from affected workers on social media platforms.

The layoffs come as Oracle dramatically increases investment in data centres and infrastructure to meet rising demand for artificial intelligence and cloud computing services. The company reported capital expenditure of $28.5 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, more than three times the $8.5 billion spent during the same period a year earlier.
The latest cuts follow a much larger reduction in Oracle's workforce during fiscal 2026.
