The CBSE has not yet given any timeline for the announcement of these results. Another 17,636 candidates have been placed under compartment as against over 1.5 lakh students last year.
The compartment examination will be conducted between August 16 and September 15.

The CBSE said any student who was not satisfied with the marks allocated to them, would have an opportunity to appear for an exam as and when conditions became right for such an event. With all schools shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CBSE declared the results taking into consideration the students’ period test/unit test (max 10 marks), half-yearly/mid-term exams (30 marks) and pre-board examinations (40 marks).
