Defence and Home Ministers join PM in reviewing security; India rejects Trump’s claim of brokering peace with Pakistan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday, the first since the pause in hostilities between India and Pakistan.He is joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah in the meeting that is assessing the latest security situation.
The prime minister will also chair the meeting of the Union Cabinet after the Cabinet Committee on Security meet. US President Donald Trump's claim of mediation between India and Pakistan in bringing about a halt in hostilities, has been rejected by India. Despite India's rebuttal, Trump again claimed that his government "brokered a historic ceasefire" between the two countries.

India’s Air Defence and Border Security Forces Thwart Pakistan’s Drone and UAV Attacks
If you look at Pakistan's airfields, you will see that, as highlighted in Air Marshal Bharti’s presentation, our airfields remain fully operational. Additionally, Pakistan's drone and weaponized UAV attempts were neutralized by our air defence systems. Even the remaining drones were shot down by our shoulder-fired weapons. I want to praise our Border Security Forces, from the Director General to the last soldier stationed on the border, who courageously supported this operation. Their ground-based air systems were integral to our air defence grid, which effectively thwarted Pakistan’s malicious actions.
