Salem: Defying the orders of the Forest department, the villagers of Vazhapadi snared a fox to hold their unique, annual fox jallikattu.
The Forest department slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh on four villagers who caught the fox. However, the angry villagers retaliated by throwing eggs on the vehicles of the Forest department officials who imposed the fine.
