Rahul Gandhi gets trolled on Twitter but did he really say Steve Jobs of Microsoft'?
New Delhi: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi is a Twitter favourite; trolls on social media are always on the prowl, just waiting for him to make a faux pas so they can pounce on him. And the opportunity came soon enough, Twitterati on Monday had a field day trolling on the Gandhi scion for allegedly saying “you can be the Steve Jobs in Microsoft,” while he was addressing students at a management institute in Mumbai on January 16.
It all started when a YouTube user uploaded a video with a snippet where Rahul Gandhi says “…One day you’re going to run this country, run the institutions, you will be the Steve Jobs in the Microsofts and the leaders, the Facebooks of this country”. The cleverly edited video shows Rahul Gandhi saying ‘Steve Jobs in the Microsofts’ on repeat followed by Steve Jobs laughing.
The video went viral on the social media and soon netizens started mocking the Congress leader. People took to Twitter, criticising Rahul with the hashtag #SteveJobsOfMicrosoft.

However, there were some, who were ready to give Rahul the benefit of doubt and believed that maybe it was only a slip of tongue and that he actually said, “you will be the Steve Jobs and the Microsofts and the leaders, the Facebooks of this country”.
What did Rahul Gandhi really say? #SteveJobsOfMicrosoft
