India witnesses the emergence of a business leader in ZGS Co-Founder Nipun Anand

Nipun is constantly innovating the company operations and working hard towards realizing revolutionary changes in the cargo industry

In 2018, the World Bank ranked India second in the world, in its Agility Emerging Markets Logistics Index. The companies driving this growth up the charts are being run by ambitious young individuals, who are not afraid of taking risks and combining the old with the new. One such dynamic young man is Nipun Anand, the Co-Founder of Zeal Global Services, a General Sales & Service Agents (GSSA) company.

Born on September 3, 1992, Nipun finished his high school from G.D. Goenka Public School, New Delhi, before going abroad for his graduation in management at the University of Bradford. When he came back home after graduating in 2013, his aim was to join his family business, run by his father, Mr. Panna Anand. The family business involved sectors like logistics, construction and hospitality. Young Nipun was brimming with ideas, so he didn’t waste much time before co-founding the Airline GSSA company, Zeal Global Services in February 2014.

Today, he is constantly innovating the company operations and working hard towards realizing revolutionary changes in the cargo industry. His talent and skills come in handy to develop novel solutions to day-to-day problems and club the market insights with age-old experience of his father. In other words, he is using every given opportunity to prove himself worthy of the position that he is in today.

His efforts have borne fruit over the years like when Russia’s Rossiya Airlines chose Zeal Global as its cargo GSA in Goa in 2019 or when Zeal Global joined hands with Teleport, the digital cargo and logistics platform of AirAsia, to create a local subsidiary in India. In fact, among its most recent strides is that Zeal Global has partnered with Air Cargo India as a platinum partner for its 8th edition.

Among his personal achievements, Nipun has received the prestigious “Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Award 2018”, at the Global Convention of NRIs, hosted in the House of Lords, London. Forbes India has covered him for his accomplishments as a Young Entrepreneur while Zeal Global Group, under his leadership, has been conferred the title of “most emerging GSA ex Kolkata” by the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (Eastern Region), for the year 2019-2020.

Personally, Nipun loves playing cricket in his free time and in order to nurture his passion for sports in a more structured manner, he also plays corporate cricket with his cricket team in Zeal and has conducted many tournaments in Delhi & Mumbai.

Nipun is a busy man, with so much going on in his life. Besides being a Director of Zeal Global Group and Director of Teleport Commerce India, he is also an active FICCI member, a member of ACAAI and ACFI as well as an Executive Director of ZIV Hotels.

Despite being caught up in a hundred things, Nipun doesn’t believe in letting go any opportunity to do good for society. He believes in helping people in need and it is this side of his personality that manifests itself in the form of the Zeal Foundation, of which he is an active trustee. This non-profit organization works to resolve issues like hunger, food wastage and malnutrition in India. The organisation’s volunteers collect all the leftover food from weddings, restaurants, corporate events and take it to people without access to food. In fact, during the Covid times, Zeal Foundation organized charitable camps, distributing necessary essential items and sanitization equipment among the needy.
