Rapper Young Zwann drops his first track Jung' in collaboration with Amaal Mallik

What sets Young Zwann apart is that he belongs to a fairly comfortable background

The street rap genre in India has gained an all-new hype after the Ranveer Singh Bollywood movie, Gully Boy. Street rap has been popular then and is still very popular for its ‘real’ lyrics, and groovy beats. While rappers like Divine and Naezy have earned their own place under the genre, this new kid on the block is here to stay! Young Zwann has recently dropped a fire track in collaboration with singer and music composer Amaal Mallik and international rapper RamRiddlz called ‘Jung’.

While most of the street rappers actually experienced a relatively ‘rough’ life, what sets Young Zwann apart is that he belongs to a fairly comfortable background. But while many may believe that he had it easy, Young Zwann begs to differ. He says, “I absolutely loved the genre of street rap, but I couldn’t really relate to living the ‘hard’ life. But then I slowly realized that it doesn’t matter where one comes from. Whether one is rich or poor. Because it’s the talent and the drive that matters.”

Young Zwann started out looking for producers to help him make his musical debut, but things didn't work out until he met Shiva Maheshwari who's also the executive producer for Jung. Shiva linked Young Zwann up with Amaal Mallik and things started to look up for the upcoming rapper. Shiva says "When I first met Young Zwann, I saw this amazing zeal in him, and that's something I look for in all the artists me and my company takes under our wings and give them the boost and the platform they deserve. So, I put together the best of everything for him and today we have this banging track called Jung.”

Young Zwann has given an all-new definition to street rap with his powerful verses and headstrong attitude. Amaal Mallik, who produced the song Jung also appreciates how hardworking Young Zwann is, and how he instantly connected with his vibe and his lyrics. The song is a super hit and gathered over three million views in just a few weeks even though it isn’t backed up by a record label.
