Why is World of Warcraft the best game in history?

World of Warcraft has taken in ideas and mechanics from a popular genre and has streamlined and optimized it in a way that no game has

While many people might suggest that it is because it has one of the biggest user-bases that is greater than many other MMOs combined, it is not so. Rather conversely, it has one of the biggest user-bases because it is so good.

World of Warcraft has taken in ideas and mechanics from a popular genre and has streamlined and optimized it in a way that no game has ever done before.

Despite its fantasy settings, it is not limited by its tag and is something that almost everyone from anywhere can enjoy. When it was released in 2004, it didn’t just spread among the hardcore gamers but the general populace as well.

That is one of the reasons why it was able to swell up so quickly despite the short amount of time. Inside the game, you are likely to meet diverse kinds of people that range from teens to working adults. The game managed to do what very few others in the fantasy genre could claim. They managed to rake in everyone.

Prior to its release, most MMOs were created in such a way that rewarded players who spent a lot of time in it. While there was nothing wrong with that, it meant that indisposed people were left at a distinct advantage.

Many of these people almost always hit a bottleneck and were simply unable to proceed any further with their stats.

World of Warcraft, on the other hand, introduced such mechanics that even those who didn’t put tremendous hours of effort into it could at least play the whole game. The game made it simple enough that even kids could grasp the situation and were able to challenge adult players and defeat them.

It also provided players with better opportunities to level up than its predecessors. Often at times, players were piled with tens of quests at once.

Killing monsters under a quest was far better than killing monsters for the sake of grinding which often felt tedious with small reward to risk ratio. Even more importantly these quests were the basis for the lore of Warcraft. They often provided rich backstories to characters, objects, and the world in general which made the game almost feel like a parallel world in itself.

This was especially the case with Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion that led to more wow classic boost service providers. The lore and the stories that were created were so rich in detail that they even spawned to other mediums like novels, comics, trading games, and even movies. Its story is without a doubt one of its biggest draws.

Even when you start as a low-level character, you feel as if you are a part of a world that is far bigger than you could imagine. As you keep on playing, you’ll feel that the stakes are rising until you become a world-saving character.

World of Warcraft is also home to one of the most heated rivalries between factions in-game world, the Alliance and the Horde. Both the fan bases are fiercely loyal to each other and defend their base vigorously.

The differences between the factions are so great that they could often carry on in the real world and cause real problems. While such things are not condoned, this goes on to show just how much the game is loved.

It’s not all bad though. The relations that are formed in the game can be strong and the sense of camaraderie and community often manage to pull back players that left. wow classic power leveling service undoubtedly takes the crown of the best game in history and manages to wear it proudly.
