Roll Ball is one of the unrecognised games in India. It is a unique combination sport and is also one of the fastest game ever played. Keeping all these facts in mind, Aditya Ganeshwade, is the proud son of India. The current skipper of the open category roll ball team.

In his 17 years of career he has brought many laurels to the nation. He has 122 international goals of his credit, presently is the title holder for scoring maximum numbers of goals in a world cup tournament and other international Roll Ball championships.

The idea of this game was invented by Mr.Raju Dabhade, a physical education teacher at MES Bal Shikshan Mandir who Single handedly with all his hard work and dedication he has taken this Indian invented sport to a next level globally.
Earlier Aditya was a Speed skater and he was also a black belt in Taekwondo and a state champion in wushu. 4

Gradually he gained interest in the game and was fascinated by the concept. Aditya was among the first players to play Roll Ball. The Roll Ball World Cup, held every two years, and South Asian Championships and Asian championships every year. Over the last few years the game got very popular. More than 50% of Europe and America countries, 70% of African countries and 90% of the Asian countries now take part in world championship.

Aditya has added several feathers on his cap. He has been nominated for the prestigious Arjuna Award for 4 consecutive times by the Roll Ball federation of India in the years- 2017, 2018,2019 & 2020.

He brought laurels to his country by winning 4 consecutive world championships and at the national level (federation nationals and all India university championships) he has bagged 11 Gold medals and 4 silver medals From year 2007 to 2019. In 2013, 2015 and 2017, Aditya was bestowed with the Best Player Award of world cup. In the year 2013 and 2017 during the World Cup games, he was highest goal scorer. He is a record holder of hitting 33 goals in the World Cup 2017, the highest for any player in any single tournament.
