Hyderabad: Irate passengers staged a protest against the negligent attitude of the SpiceJet airlines at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Wednesday for causing inordinate delay to take off the flight to reach Prayagraj.
Trouble started when the airlines announced last minute flight delay to take off when passengers went inside after obtaining their boarding passes. This resulted in heated arguments between the staff and the passengers, who demanded to inform them about the exact time for the flight to take off from RGIA.
The flight was supposed to take off as per its schedule at 10 am. As it did not happen, passengers became frustrated when the airlines announced the delay in flight service. Passengers criticized the airlines for causing problems to them and leaving them stranded.

As it was the last day for taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam during Mahakumbh mela in Prayagraj, several passengers booked flight tickets but the delay left them annoyed. They alleged that the airlines could not reveal proper information about the service.
