Big time Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer posted a photo of himself with Tom Cruise onto his Twitter feed, teasing fans with a long awaited Top Gun sequel that has been in the works since the movie’s release in 1986.
“Just got back from a weekend in New Orleans to see my old friend @TomCruise and discuss a little Top Gun 2,” Jerry captioned the photo.
While a sequel has been rumoured for years now, this seems to be the first official step towards the film going into production, with Tom’s co-star Val Kilmer confusing fans with a Facebook post in November that, both, confirmed and denied that he had signed on for the sequel.
