Mariah Carey gets engaged to her billionaire boyfriend James Packer

Mariah Carey got engaged to her billionaire boyfriend James Packer, who got down on one knee and popped the question with a massive engagement ring in the presence of Mariah’s close friends at a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park in NYC.

Although, the couple only started dating since July 2015, their relationship bloomed real quick, with the two spending several consecutive weeks together on his yacht over the summer. Carey has been previously married to Nick Cannon — who is also the father of her two children — and music mogul Tommy Mottola. Interestingly, Packer has also been married twice before and has three children of his own.

There is no official word out on the wedding date itself but at the rate these two are moving, it will probably happen in 2016.
