Just a couple of days after her husband René Angélil died of throat cancer, Canadian singer Celine Dion’s brother, Daniel, too, passed away on Saturday morning after being diagnosed with cancer just hours earlier.
Daniel, 59, had been suffering from throat, brain and tongue cancer, died in a hospital in Montreal just a day after being told he only had hours to live.
A source told People.com that Celine was still making arrangements for her husband’s funeral in Las Vegas when she heard the news and added, “It’s a typical grieving process. There’s moments of shed tears, moments of memories and laughter.”
