Singer Celine Dion is currently in the middle of a really heartbreaking time. The
Canadian hitmaker, who lost her husband, Rene Angelli to cancer on Thursday, faced another blow as her brother Daniel has also been diagnosed with the same disease.
Talking about it, a teary-eyed Claudette, Celine’s sister told, “It’s very painful. It’s a matter of days or hours. It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain. Our family is very experienced.”
This was later confirmed by Celine’s representative to Entertainment Tonight.
Celine is already grieving the passing away of her husband and manager who she married in 1994. Sources inform that the news about her brother has shattered her.
“I’m trying really hard to show my children that sickness and things happen in life. You cannot be crying and be depressed and consistently talk about, Oh my God,” Dion had told Us Weekly in August 2015 after she returned to her Las Vegas residency show.
