Los Angeles: Pop star Ariana Grande and former boyfriend Nathan Sykes have reunited for a new version of 'Over and Over Again'.

More than a year after their short-lived romance, the ex couple teamed up for the song, which they teased yesterday, through their respective social media accounts, reported Aceshowbiz.

The song was originally released back in October as a solo single to be included on 22-year-old Sykes' upcoming album.

Late last week, the former The Wanted member revealed on Twitter that he had reworked the tune with "a very special feature."

Grande, 22, has confirmed that she's the guest Sykes was talking about.

"'From the heat of night to the break of day. I'll keep you safe & hold you forever..' #OverAndOverAgain," she tweeted some lyrics before sharing a preview of the revamped version featuring her vocals.

Sykes also posted on the same day through his own Twitter account a different and longer snippet. In the caption, he promised the full song would arrive on Friday, January 15.

Grande and Sykes previously collaborated on "Almost Is Never Enough", a track from the former Nickelodeon star's 2013 debut album "Yours Truly".
