Even before the huge steel filters came into existence coffee decoction would be made pouring hot water over coffee powder to filter it out of white muslin cloth. In a step further to keeping the local culture alive, the Four Seasons has placed pour over coffee sachets for the guests in the room.
The breakfast at CUR8 is a lavish spread with a choice of both seasonal and exotic fruits, porridge, the must have south Indian breakfast choices, the jackfruit mini dosa was delectable. That apart, a huge choice of breads, butters, cheese, detox juices, flavoured yoghurt and pancakes. Breakfast at CUR8 is a wholesome meal in itself. There is enough for those watching too. But what stood out were the soaked almonds, raisins and chia seeds—which is a religious early morning ritual for most health conscious individuals these days. That I thought was a thoughtful gesture.
