Legal Era India Conclave 2026 Unites Legal, Judicial & Corporate Leaders in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The 15th Annual Legal Era India Conclave 2026 brought together leading members of the legal, judicial, corporate and technology communities at Novotel Hyderabad for a full-day conference on the evolving role of law in business, technology, innovation and governance.

The programme commenced at 9 a.m. with the inaugural address and traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Surepalli Nanda, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana, who was the Chief Guest. The conference continued through the day with discussions and interactions among members of the judiciary, Bar, corporate legal fraternity and industry, and concluded at 8 p.m.

Addressing the gathering on “Law, Technology, Digital Infrastructure and Corporate Leadership”, Justice Nanda spoke about the growing impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the legal profession, courts, businesses and society.

Justice Nanda observed that technology should enable courts to discharge their constitutional responsibilities more effectively. While AI can augment judicial intelligence, she emphasised that it cannot replace judicial conscience or the judicial mind. She stressed that technological progress should ultimately be measured by whether it makes justice more accessible, affordable and comprehensible to those whom the courts serve.

Justice Nanda further underlined the importance of human-centred leadership, observing that while technology can improve efficiency and automate routine tasks, qualities such as empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence remain essential to effective leadership.

The conclave was organised under the leadership of the Legal Era team, including Aakriti Raizada, and provided a platform for meaningful interaction between the judiciary, Bar, corporate legal fraternity and industry.

The event was attended by several prominent members of the legal and corporate fraternity, including Senior Advocate Krishna Grandhi, Mrs. Isha Sinha, Chief Legal Officer, Medicover Hospitals, Nitin Sharma of Qualcomm, and Ms. Divya Adepu, Special Government Pleader, among other dignitaries. The conclave also saw participation from senior legal heads representing Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Cyient, Apollo Hospitals and Colyryt, along with other leading in-house legal professionals and industry representatives. The event also witnessed international participation, bringing a global perspective to the discussions.

A key highlight of the conclave was the presentation of awards recognising leading in-house counsels and corporate legal professionals for their contribution, leadership and excellence. The awards recognised the increasingly strategic role of corporate legal teams in business decision-making, governance and risk management.

The gathering included senior advocates, corporate legal heads, prominent law firms including Trilegal, Khaitan & Co. and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, general counsels, in-house counsels, legal and compliance professionals, technology and intellectual-property experts and industry leaders.

The Hyderabad edition highlighted the city's growing prominence as a hub for technology, healthcare, life sciences and corporate activity, making it an appropriate setting for discussions on the future of law, technology and corporate leadership.

The conference concluded at 8 p.m. with the vote of thanks delivered by Senior Advocate Krishna Grandhi, bringing the full-day Hyderabad edition of the 15th Annual Legal Era India Conclave 2026 to a close.
