Tara Kitchen Promises Authentic Moroccan Cuisine Rooted in Tradition

When I think of Morocco, images of sweeping deserts, ancient cities brimming with charm, and the romantic allure of Casablanca come to mind. For food enthusiasts like us, Morocco's unbelievably delicious and diverse cuisine takes center stage.

Now, to honor the culinary heritage of this captivating nation, a new culinary venture has graced our town, presenting the finest of Moroccan cuisine to adventurous food lovers. Situated in the vibrant heart of Jubilee Hills, Tara Kitchen emerges as the brainchild of Aneesa, a skilled chef who has channeled her culinary expertise into crafting this delightful establishment amidst the lively surroundings.

Moroccan cuisine is a fusion of various cultures that have thrived on Moroccan soil, including Arab, Berber, Moorish, French, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean African, Iberian, and Jewish influences. This rich heritage is reflected in delicately prepared dishes featuring freshly ground spices, lean meats, sweet fruits like apricots and raisins. Tara Kitchen embodies the essence of Moroccan cuisine perfectly.

Among their signature dishes, the Casablanca platter stands out, featuring pita bread served with three delicious dips: zaalouk, harissa, and parsley chermoula. The Apricot Chicken starter is also a must-try, and I've heard rave reviews about the Shrimp Pil Pil.

What's particularly noteworthy about the menu is the thoughtful classification of dishes as Vegan, Dairy-free, Nut-free, Soy-free, and Gluten-free, catering to various dietary preferences.

In the main course, the tagines are a highlight, available in a variety of options. For vegetarians, the brinjal croquette in tomato chermoula is a winner – a fried croquette made with sundried tomatoes and chickpeas, cooked in a flavorful tomato sauce. The Lentils with preserved lemons offer a tangy yet delightful flavor. Non-vegetarians can indulge in the seafood variety of tagines.

For dessert, there's a tempting array including Rabtya, Maskouta, Chocolate Truffle Pastry, Red Velvet, and Rose Cheesecake.

To complement the meal, you can sip on Essouira Waves or Imperial Fez, either as an aperitif or to accompany your dining experience.

The ambiance is further enhanced by Moroccan music and traditional attire, truly immersing you in the authentic Moroccan experience. With popular yet nutritious delicacies whipped up by the Chef, Tara Kitchen seamlessly blends the opulent culinary legacy and lifestyle of Morocco with a modern flair.
