- 2016 was the year of flagships with two most prominent ones - the iPhone 7 and the Google Pixel.
- And now comes the king of flagships. The entire smartphone space waited with bated breath as Apple took the covers off its latest iPhone (7/7 Plus) and showed the world what a flagship is.
- Asus extended its Zenfone family with a flagship and called it the Zenfone Deluxe. The device has a Snapdragon 820/821 with a 4/6GB of RAM.
- One of the first phones to actually have a bezel-less display (around 91% screen to body ratio), captured the eyes of numerous gadget geeks across the globe. Specs are standard with 6GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 821 processor.
- Google's first foray into the hardware-ish world of smartphones and it was already at the top. The build quality, feel, and the processor (Snapdragon 821) ensured its position as a flagship.
- OnePlus stomped on the flagship segment with its OnePlus 3 and Snapdragon 820. The the chinese manufacturer stomped on its OpnePlus 3 for the 3T which had a bigger battery and Snapdragon 821.
- The Moto Z managed to capture the attention of the people mainly because of it mods which it offers. There is a battery mod, a camera mod, and a JBL speaker mod.
- One of the first modular phone, the LG G5 still has minor chinks in its design which we hope will be removed in its successor.
- This was one of the underdogs in the flagship segment but won us over with its 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 821 processor which has the likes of Google Pixel, Mi Mix, and OnePlus 3T.
- Honor's flagship was one of the best phones we reviewed with its superior build quality, dual camera setup, coupled to a 4GB RAM and 1.8GHz Kirin 950 processor.
