Sunny Leone has a taste of the south

Sunny Leone has just shot a song in Thailand for the Tamil film 'Vadacurry'

Sunny Leone, who had earlier rejected many movie offers and songs from the southern film industry, has just shot a song in Thailand for the Tamil film, Vadacurry. She took her time, understanding the Tamil number and getting the rigorous dance moves right. “It is quite a different song than what I have shot before and it was a good experience shooting with a non-Hindi movie unit as well,” says Sunny of her debut south Indian experience.

The film, starring Jai and Swathi, has been directed by Saravanan Rajan, who was earlier an associate of Venkat Prabhu’s. The song has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vadacurry, based on the name of a food item, following on the lines of the Malayalam film, Salt N Pepper and the Hindi Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, is a comedy thriller, produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri, who wanted to revive the pair of Subramanyapuram, hoping to cash in on the success of the earlier film.

Sunny Leone who entered Bollywood on August 3, 2012 with the film, Jism 2, had another release, called Jackpot, last month which failed at the box office. Her song, Laila, in the film, Shootout at Wadala, won attention. She has the Hindi films, Ragini MMS 2 and Tina and Lolo releasing soon.
