ISRO successfully launches a record 20 satellites into orbit
After a 48-hour countdown on Monday, June 22, 2016, ISRO successfully launched the historic mission.
ISRO launched 20 satellites on a single mission on June 22. The Indian Space Research Organisation said launched the Indian rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 9.26 am with 20 satellites onboard. The cargo carried the main Indian observation satellite Cartosat-2 (725.5kg), and other 19 satellites (including a few more Indian ones). (Photos: ISRO)
