Hardik walks free after 9 months, Patel community celebrates

As per HC directions, Hardik will have to leave Gujarat within 48 hours after his release from jail.
Hardik Patel is currently based in Udaipur in Rajasthan.- Taking potshot at the Prime Minister, Hardik said, \"I want to say that I don't want height, weight or a 56-inch chest. All I want is rights for my community.\"
- Patel community has always stood by Hardik and his agitation for our community. He is like our family member, said one of the Patel community leaders.
- As per HC directions, Hardik will have to leave Gujarat within 48 hours after his release from jail. Hardik's lawyer Dilip Patel informed the court that he will stay at House No 190, Shrinath Nagar on airport road in Udaipur.
- People belonging to the Patidar community, thronged the jail premises. The excitement of the members catapulted a notch higher after Hardik came out of the jail premises. People sported special attire in order to exemplify valiance wielded by the Patidar community.
- The Gujarat High Court paved way for Hardik's release after granting him bail in two cases of sedition and a case related to violence at Visnagar MLA's office.
After a stint of 9 months, Hardik Patel walked out of jail with a glee on his face. The 22-year-old Patidar community leader was recieved a warm welcome, with a exuberant crowd celebrating his release. (Photo: AP)
