Eid al-Adha, or the festival of sacrifice is celebrated by Muslims around the world to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's test of faith.- The Indian government on Monday announced that the holiday for Bakrid will now be observed on Tuesday (September 13, 2016) and not on Monday (September 12).
