Ostentation at Simhastha Maha Kumbh Mela in Ujjain

According to the government, some 25 lakh faithful have reached this ancient city for the second snan.
The second 'Shahi Snan' (Royal Bath) of month-long Simhastha Kumbh mela began early on Thursday in Madhya Pradesh. The venerated occasion testified pomp and show in the holy city of Ujjain. The scene in an around Ramghat, which has been decked for the ritual, gives a snippet of the ostentation witnessed during the bath. Tourists from across the world throng ghats and participate in the revelry.
