Retired Indian couple drives across 52 countries to raise money for charity
Couple Louis and Janet D'souza decided to spend their retirement in a way that was way different from what most people do. They undertook a car journey from India to the UK and back all for a charitable cause. (Photo: Facebook)- The duo is planning to go to New Zealand and Australia for their next trip later this year.
- Some of the countries that they have been to include Myanmar, China, Russia, Latvia, Finland, Norway, U.K., France, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey.
- The D'souzas gave Rs 10 per km that they travel to two NGOs Muskaan Sharing Smiles and White Doves. They even ended up collecting around Rs 6 lakh besides their initial donation of Rs 5.5 lakh.
- Louis and Janet are 61 and 55 years old respectively.
- They drove over 50,000 km through 52 countries for their trip.
- They give twenty-somethings awesome travel goals.
