When it came to Bollywood, 2016 wasn't a very amazing year. As usual, Indian cinema bombarded audiences with one after another release.
When it came to Bollywood, 2016 wasn't a very amazing year. As usual, Indian cinema bombarded audiences with one after another release. But only few lived upton everyone's expectations while many films just made fans walk out of the cinema halls. As we say goodbye to 2016, here's a list of this year's biggest box office duds.- Directed by Vikram Bhatt, 'Raaz Reboot' starring Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora was one of the biggest let downs of the year at the box office.
- Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Mirzya', which marked Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's debut at the box office, couldn't impress the audiences and flopped at the box office miserably.
- Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer 'Wazir' was one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, the film couldn't quite meet the expectations and had a poor run at the box office.
- Farhan Akhtar's 2008 film 'Rock On' was a blockbuster. Sadly, the sequel didn't face the same fate at the box office and was a blunder.
- Forget flopping, 'Great Grand Masti' was a complete disaster at the box office. The film, which was made on a budget of 32 crores approximately, could only mint around 13 crores.
- Tiger Shroff was looking forward to fly high in his career with 'A Flying Jatt' but the film couldn't even take off at the box office.
- After 'Force', fans were looking quite forward to John Abraham starrer 'Force 2', which also featured Sonakshi Sinha. But the film did not only failed to generate massive reaction amongst the fans, but also bombed at the box office.
- Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Baar Baar Dekho' received bad reviews from all four corners and by earning only 50 crorers approx, the film was a big flop at the box office as well.
- Producers spent around 105 crore on Maneesh Sharma, 'Fan' which starred Shah Rukh Khan as the lead. Though the film won critical acclaim, it didn't quite succeed in earning big at the box office and was a flop.
- Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Mohenjo Daro' was made on a budget of 120 crores approx but only managed to earn around 59 crores at the box office. The film was this year's biggest fop.
