LFW: Kangana, Varun, Malaika, expectant Neha-Angad, others’ classy ramp walks
It was the most star-studded day, the fourth of the Lakme Fashion Week held in Mumbai on Saturday. (Photos: Viral Bhayani)
With Kangana Ranaut’s ramp appearance being in association with a smartphone brand, the actress rightly posed according to it. She was the showstopper for designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi and dazzled in an embellished royal blue sleeveless dress with floor-length cape, but we wonder if you could recognise her in her straightened hair.
Malaika Arora Khan was one of the star attractions for designer Anushree Reddy. Malaika wore a vibrant lime green lehenga choli with silver embellishments and a matching light dupatta.
Varun Dhawan went ‘dirty’ with a mark on his face as he walked for Kunal Rawal, who is famous in Bollywood circles. The actor was dressed in high-necked shirt with waistcoat, long full-sleeved jacket, straight fit pants, chain and formal shoes.
Were parents-to-be Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia trying their baby bump all this while for this appearance? The couple showed Payal Singhal’s collection in matching traditional attires with floral embroidery.
Jacqueline Fernandez was the showstopper for Ashish N Soni in a one-shoulder jumpsuit-like outfit with a different hairstyle.
She was also seen in another dress at the event, again a one-shoulder black dress with a flowy hemline she held while walking.
Shruti Haasan looked beautiful in a three-layered full sleeved frill dress as showstopper for designers Saaksha and Kinni.
Neha Sharma looked absolutely gorgeous in Sita Mikhail’s wine red flowy gown with metallic embellishments and plunging neckline.
Nushrat Bharucha walked with style in a cascade embroidered jacket worn over a ruffled skirt for Sanam and Paras Modi’s collection.
Bipasha Basu walked for the label Ruceru and looked red hot in a lingerie-style top, matching sequined cape and A-line skirt, with jasmine flowers on her ears.
Dia Mirza was the showstopper for the label Sammohi by Moksha and Hiral and her ensemble featured a sleeveless blouse, flared skirt with floral work and a dupatta with metallic work which she draped Gujarati style.
Elli Avrram walked the ramp for designer Ekta and looked like a true Indian beauty in a stylish lehenga choli.
Saiyami Kher impressed on the ramp as she wore a Vineet Rahul creation, a round neck tight-fitting blouse, matching dupatta with flared ivory-hued skirt.
