Anna Hazare promoted his upcoming biopic, 'Anna Hazare: Kisan Baburao Hazare,' at the unlikeliest of places on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. (Pic: Viral Bhayani)- All set to be dubbed into English and other regional languages, the biopic is scheduled to release on October 14.
- The film also stars Tanisha Mukherjee, Rajit Kapoor, Sharat Saxena and Govind Namdeo.
- The 130 minute long film was shot for over a year at locales in Anna's native village Ralegan-Siddhi in Ahmednagar and also in Mumbai, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Rajasthan.
- The biopic, helmed by Shashank Udaparkar, stars the director in the eponymous role.
- Anna had galvanised an entire nation into proactivity, by co-finding the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), though he eventually severed all ties with it, post a fallout with Arjun Kejriwal.
