Kangana slams Salman for 'raped woman' comment at Kriti launch event

Kangana Ranaut condemned Salman Khan's raped woman' analogy by saying that it was “horrible thing to sayâ€.

- Kangana further stated, “As a society, we have to take responsibility. It is disgraceful to the whole society and not an individual. What Salim uncle said is right, we are all sorry about it. It is not about an individual, we all collectively feel sorry for that thought process.\"
- Kangana also reacted to Salman Khan's raped woman statement which caught fire online on Saturday. She said, \"We all agree. It's a horrible thing to say. It is something which is extremely insensitive. But what I would like to say is let's not encourage the mentality where we want to point fingers at each other and want to feel greater by just running people down by trolling them.â€
- “It really affected me. It has to be impactful. A love story or a slice-of-life won't work for me in a short film,†Kangana added.
- “I would love to (do short films). Short film is such a difficult and new world for people who are a part of full length feature films I think the genre has to be something exactly like this,†Kangana said.
- The 'Queen' star said she would love to feature in a short film but the genre should be similar to that of 'Kriti', a psychological-thriller, rather than a slice-of-life.
- “It is not just me, I think the whole world knows that the future of cinema is Internet movies because two and a half hour film is not the future. The future is online. The sooner we realise that, the sooner we catch up. We won't be lagging behind the rest of the world,†Kangana told reporters at the event.
- Shirish Kunder's18-minute short film starring Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma deals with the complexities of a character's mind.
- At the launch event, Kangana Ranaut said that the future of cinema will be Internet movies simple because two and a half hour films will not be the future.
