Great Grand Masti leak copy same as was submitted to FCAT: Makers
The makers said that the online leakage of the film three weeks before its release has killed the movie and they have suffered huge losses.

Despite the film being available online, the team did not stop promoting the film. \"We thought by talking about our problem, we would in a way tell people that our film is already available before its official release. This would mean more loss. So we thought about talking about the issue after the film is officially out,\" Aftab said.
Urvashi said the leak was akin to murdering the movie. \"When 'Udta Punjab' got leaked online, all of us felt bad. I never expected that my film will also face a similar situation. It's really disheartening. It's nothing less than a murder.\"
\"We immediately informed the producers and we all jumped in to prevent it (online leak/piracy). We started talking to people in government including the I &B ministry, police officials and cyber crime cell,\" he added.
Riteish revealed that it was through one of their fans that they learnt the film was leaked online. \"We were at IIFA awards when we saw a fan posting an image from the film and it had 'For Censor' written on it. We initially thought it's a movie still but later learnt that the film was released online,\" Riteish said.
Ekta reveals that half of her staff had seen the film much before its official release. \"The investigations are on and we are hopeful perpetrators will be booked soon in both the cases (referring to \"Udta Punjab\" and \"Great Grand Masti\" leak). We can't blame anyone. Reports will come out. We just appeal to authorities to take concrete action. We are taking measures for our upcoming films,\" she added.
\"It's shocking. It's really unfortunate that this has happened again (referring to the leak) and that we are targeted again. There are people who have wasted the hard work of the team of the film. I have learnt that in one day six lakh download happens,\" Ekta said.
Shahid Kapoor starrer \"Udta Punjab\" got leaked two days before its release and \"Great Grand Masti\" was out online. Both the films are produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures.
\"The copy that has been leaked online is the same copy that was submitted to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT). This is an unprecedented leakage. After cyber cell investigation, it was found out that the sealed copy was sent to FCAT, then the seal was tampered and mixed with other films,\" Hitesh Jain, the legal aid of Balaji Motion Pictures, which has produced the film, said.

Riteish Deshmukh-Aftab Shivdasani-Vivek Oberoi-starrer adult comedy \"Great Grand Masti\" was supposed to release on July 22, but it was out in cinema houses on July 15 as it was leaked online.
