Umang 2018: Actresses choose Indian attire, Ranveer goes hatke again

The Umang awards show, held for the police force every year, saw many celebrities come in. While the actors opted to be safe in black, the ladies went for an Indian attire and looked absolutely stunning in them. He plays dwarf in Aanand L. Rai's next, 'Zero', the announcement of which has left the nation spellbound.
- Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was also welcomed at the event. He will soon be seen in 'Thugs Of Hindostan' with Aamir Khan and will also join Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt once the trilogy 'Brahmastra' goes on floors.
- Karan Johar and Aamir Khan got chatty before the event. Both were dressed in a safe - casual black attire.
- Ranveer Singh, however, like always, stole all limelight as he came dressed hatke - in purple velvet trousers. The actor is awaiting 'Padmaavat' release and has started shooting for 'Gully Boy'.
- Shilpa Shetty Kundra, currently making her name as a TV show host, posed with the police men. She was clad in a grey saree.
- Tabu, who was a part of one of 2017's biggest hits, 'Golmaal Again', perfected her saree look with pretty earrings.
- Raveena Tandon came dressed in a pleasantly unusual saree. The actress, last seen as the lead in 'Maatr', is here seen posing for a selfie with her fan.
- Daisy Shah also wore a shade of white. She made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's 'Jai Ho!' and will also next be seen with him in 'Race 3'.
- Sridevi came to the event with her husband Boney Kapoor. The actress sure steals the limelight even today. Last seen in 'Mom', the 'Hawa Hawai' girl has a special appearance in 'Zero'.
- Alia Bhatt also sported a similar dress. She is currently seen enjoying her holidays and prepping for 'Brahmastra'. She started the shooting of 'Gully Boy' with Ranveer Singh this Sunday.
- Anushka Sharma Kohli made her first public appearance in Bollywood post marriage to Virat Kohli on the show. She looked pretty in an Indian attire. The actress will soon be seen in 'Zero' and has a small role in Dutt biopic with Ranbir Kapoor.
- Kangana Ranaut, often spotted from the sets of 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi', wore a traditional saree to the event.
- Deepika Padukone opted for a black saree, just like she did when celebrating 25 years of a media house. The actress will soon be seen in 'Padmaavat', which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
- Anil Kapoor, who entertained thoroughly in his last release 'Mubarakan', also posed for the media at the event. The ever-young actor has transformed his look for 'Race 3' and we're still mighty impressed with the man.
