- Directed by Nishikant Kamath Madaari', also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Tushar Dalv.
- According to reports, 'Madaari' deals with an event that took place during the construction of an overhead Metro bridge on the Andheri-Kurla Road in suburban Mumbai.
- Feeling completely helpless and angered by the whole situation, he sets out to take his revenge by kidnapping the Home Minister's son.
- In the trailer, Irrfan plays a commoner who loses his son due to an unfortunate incident.
- After playing the good guy' in films like Piku' and Talvar', Irrfan switches gears to portray a much darker and grim character in this film, that has been inspired by true events.
- According to reports, Marathi filmmaker Pramod Gore is toying with the idea of producing a Hindi film on the 'Missile Man' of India.
- \"I have not been approached for the film. I would love to do it. It's a historic character, who wouldn't like to play? It depends on who is making it. I think an actor is incomplete without a director,\" Irrfan told reporters
- There have been reports that 'Piku' star Irrfan, is being considered for the role of Kalam in a new film.
- At the trailer launch, actor Irrfan Khan said that he is open to playing former President late APJ Abdul Kalam on the silver screen.
