Ooty: A leopard attacked and killed a woman who lived on a farmland in a remote corner of the Bouta slopes, 10 km off Ooty. Kavitha Ravi (35) had gone on Saturday evening to the nearby Adasolai area to buy sugar, but did not return.
On Sunday morning, her mauled body was found inside the reserve forest bordering her house. Pug marks showed that she was attacked by a leopard and dragged inside the jungle.
