Lok Satta Party chief Jayaprakash Narayan to meet Arvind Kejriwal

Lok Satta party leaders to meet Kejriwal on Jan 11 to discuss ways to work together.

Hyderabad: Lok Satta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan along with other party leaders will meet Aam Aadmi Party founder and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi on January 11 to discuss ways for the two parties to work together to spread the movement for alternative politics in the country.

Narayan said here on Sunday that his party had worked for the success of AAP in Delhi by sending its volunteers and also mobilising funds for the Assembly election campaign.

Promoting clean politics and ridding the country of corruption and dynastic rule was the need of the hour, Narayan said.

Stating that even traditional parties had leaders of great personal integrity like Manik Sarkar, Mamata Banerjee, Manohar Parikkar and N Rangaswamy, Narayan said he was in favour of all such people joining hands now that Delhi has demonstrated that change can be achieved in a few months instead of in years or decades.

Meanwhile, in reply to a question, Narayan said that Lok Satta Party plans to contest all 294 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

Narayan, a bureaucrat-turned-politician, launched Lok Satta Party several years back with the goal of bringing in clean and corruption-free politics.
