Mexico advanced to the last 16 of the World Cup on Tuesday after defeating Ecuador 2-0 at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
Goals from Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez secured victory for Mexico, who will now face either the Democratic Republic of Congo or England at the same venue on Sunday for a place in the quarter-finals.
