Yash Makes an Interesting Comment on the Nature of Toxic
Toxic was postponed from March to June 4 recently.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Yash's Toxic co-stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria. To be released in theatres on June 4, its promotions have begun in earnest.
Produced by Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions, Toxic's budget is massive. Speaking at an international event, the KGF actor said that Toxic is "very layered". He added that it is "not a typical gangster action story".
So, while it comes across as a typical gangster flick on the face of it, it's something else. "Toxic has got deep psychology and it has got very interesting aspects of human life where you can resonate with. And it’s a very unique way to present a dark character is what I feel," he said at the CinemaCon 2026 event in Las Vegas.
