War 2 Is First Indian Film to Blast Off in Dolby Cinema

War 2, the upcoming Indian action film starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., will be the first Indian film to be released in Dolby Cinema in India.

The film will utilize Dolby Vision for vivid visuals and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.

The movie, produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and directed by Ayan Mukerji, is set to release on August 14, 2025, in both Hindi and Telugu languages. It will debut at India’s first Dolby Cinema location at City Pride Multiplexes in Kharadi, Pune, and will also be screened at Dolby Cinema sites globally, including in North America, the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other markets.

Its trailer was released on Friday. This is the first Hindi movie in Tarak's career.
