Vishwambhara will be feast for mega fans, says director Mallidi Vassishta
Earlier, Chiranjeevi’s much-hyped film was slated to release during the Sankranthi festival in January 2025, due to changed circumstances
Young director Mallidi Vassishta claimed that his upcoming film ‘Vishwambhara’ with megastar Chiranjeevi would be exciting. “It would be a feast for mega fans,” says the director during a visit to Tirumala temple. “Shooting is going on for the socio-fantasy film and I have taken a break to have darshan of Lord Venkateshwara and I am quite glad that I had a great darshan,” he added in the video that has gone viral. He further adds, “Vishwambhara has all the makings for a blockbuster film and we are quite elated about the output but it is too early to talk about release plans,” he points out.
Earlier, Chiranjeevi’s much-hyped film was slated to release during the Sankranthi festival in January 2025, due to changed circumstances, the megastar deferred the release of his film to leave space to his son and reigning star Ram Charan. “Chiranjeevi Garu and UV Creations kindly agreed to adjust their release date. 'Vishwambhara' will complete its production, including post-production, by December, but they have opted for a different release date to give our film ‘Game Changer 'the spotlight during Sankranthi. I want to extend my gratitude to Chiranjeevi Garu and the team at UV Creations—Vamsi, Pramod, and Vicky—for their support,” said Dil Raju in the past.
After tasting massive success with ‘Waltair Veerayya’, Chiranjeevi couldn’t repeat the magic with his other film ‘Bholaa Shankar’ and it crashed at the box office. Hence, he would be pinging on his magnum opus to regain his winning streak and give his rivals a run for their money.
