Vijay Deverakonda Reveals A Sharwanand Movie He Missed Out On
Vijay Deverakonda opened up about a film he missed out on doing in 2023.

In one of his interviews to promote Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda opened up about a film he missed out on doing in 2023. He revealed that he was offered Oke Oka Jeevitham, which eventually went to Sharwanand.
"I listened to the script of Oke Oka Jeevitham thrice and really liked it a lot. I wanted to act in it as well as produce it. However, I felt that the character wouldn’t suit my body language, which is why I couldn’t act in it," the Arjun Reddy actor said.
He also spoke about the Kingdom 2 plans. "Firstly, we would like to tell the full story of Kingdom. After its release, we will see the audience response, and then we will think about a sequel. We want the film to do well; that’s why we have chosen the title as Kingdom and not Kingdom: Part 1. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri told me two stories, but I liked Kingdom more because the film is high on drama more than action," the Geetha Govindam actor added.
Kingdom was originally scheduled to release on May 30th, but it has been rescheduled to July 4th. The film is backed by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and is presented by Srikara Studios. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
