Upasana Kamineni Konidela has delivered a strong message to women who try to undermine others for their own benefit. She made these remarks while attending the fifth anniversary celebration of Anchor Suma Kanakala’s ‘Festival of Joy’ as the chief guest.

During the event, Suma praised Upasana’s commitment to service and expressed admiration for her confidence and determination. In response, Upasana lauded Suma’s achievements, describing her as a powerful and confident woman who serves as an inspiration to many.

Praising Suma’s contribution as an anchor, Upasana said her presence and quick thinking had saved numerous shows and made her an integral part of many events. She also thanked Suma for launching ‘Festival of Joy’ and successfully taking the initiative forward, calling her a source of inspiration and a much-loved personality.

Addressing the challenges faced by women in society, Upasana spoke candidly about how some women attempt to bring others down to advance their own interests.

“Many women in society need our help. However, I have observed that some women selfishly try to pull other women down for their own advancement. This is my warning to them: Never think that you can achieve success by putting another woman down or by pleasing a weak man,” she said.

Upasana also highlighted the plight of children living in orphanages, pointing out that some innocent children suffer because of the mistakes and injustices committed by adults, including women.

Emphasising the importance of solidarity, she said that one woman’s pain and tears should never become another woman’s victory. She urged women to support one another, grow together and begin by changing their own mindsets. She added that her research and observations had reinforced these beliefs and expressed happiness at sharing the stage with like-minded women.

Upasana further revealed that she consciously keeps her distance from selfish people and surrounds herself with kind-hearted women who genuinely care for others and are willing to help those in need.
